The text is accompanied by forty colour illustrations showing the masque of flowers.  Walter Crane is considered to be one of the most influential children's book writers of his generation. He contributed to the child's nursery motif of the late 19th century. This edition includes Cassell's publisher's adverts with a detailed list of other publications. In the original pictorial boards.
